Heating Bill

We have to do something because we can’t afford to live like this anymore. Our latest heating bill was half of what we pay for our mortgage. This month it’s supposed to be even colder. We already have the heat down as low as we can stand it. We’re wearing layers of clothes at night sitting around on the couch. Our two cats that rarely sleep with us at night have been in the bed nightly for the extra warmth we provide. Our dream house was just that when we bought it late this summer. We had no idea what lay in store for us when winter came. Our backdoor neighbors, who have been nothing but nice, recommended we double glaze our windows. My husband had never heard of it before but that’s not surprising if you knew him. Our neighbors said they had a similar problem and double glazing their windows cut their heating bill by almost 15%. The same builder built our houses and while they aren’t exactly the same they are close enough especially the window layout. I have a guy coming next week to give us an estimate.
